Moving Day!

I'm moving into the basement this weekend! I'm very very excited as I will be able to have a lot more of my own space. I bought a cabinet to put my dishes and things in and I'm going to clean it out and paint it which is going to be fun and my and my mom have already been trying to figure out how to arrange my craft space and my living space and it's all very exciting!

I also bought some more material for circle scarves today and I am so excited to make them because the fabric is so much fun! I'll show you once I've got some under way :)

In the meantime, here are some new etsy finds! Click links to go to their shop.

Feels Like Home

I went to a Chantal Kreviazuk concert this week! It was wonderful :)

This pretty lady opened for her. Her name is Meaghan Smith and her music is so fun and cute! Check out her website

And then of course Ms. Kreviazuk is so talented. It was fabulous!

Happy Birthday to Me

Did some birthday shopping a few days ago and here is what I bought :)

Sephora by OPI nailpolish. It's black with the slightest hint of a goldy/bergundy sparkle. I usually NEVER paint my nails, but I like how black nails look so I decided to go for it and I love it :) Oh and actually I didn't buy this one, it was a gift from Joelle

These brown chords from American Eagle *justification for this purchase: I needed another pair of work pants :D*

And these boots from Sirens.

Ch-ch-ch-changes

I FINALLY figured out how to make a 3 column blog which has made me very happy, and I'm working on other changes to make it more exciting! Do you like the new banner? I think I like it a lot :)

The Craft Sale and Pink Panther are over, and I'm moving into the basement in a few weeks which I am very excited about!

This post is kinda all over the place, but here's a picture from a little photo shoot I took in my yard this week.

This week I've got lots going on, but it should all be very exciting! I will definitely have pictures to share AND hopefully an etsy update!!!

Halloween

This...is my lady Gaga costume.

I'm not gonna lie, I love this costume. It was fun to make and even more fun to wear! And I'm also going to brag a little about the construction of this outfit.

Firstly, the wig was 36" inches long, had a middle part and was all kinky and not very straight at all. I cut off half of the hair, glued some on for the bangs, and glued the rest onto the head to fill in bald-ish spots (cheap wigs like these do not come with enough hair). I also straightened it all with my hair straitener.

Secondly, yes, that skirt is made of bubble wrap. I sewed bubble wrap onto a piece of elastic and voila, bubble wrap mini skirt!

Lastly, the bow is made of bubble wrap and the shoulders are also stuffed with bubble wrap!

This outfit won me Most Creative Costume at the party I was at!
